As the largest IAPT service in the East Midlands, we are committed to providing the highest standards of care and support for our clients.

As our referrals continue to rise, we are now looking to expand our service capacity, to ensure that each and every client receives the help they need, when they need it. 

As a Clinical Associate, you will be central to that expansion, providing exceptional psychological therapy to clients at Step 3.

You will enjoy complete flexibility and control over your caseload, working collaboratively with your clients, our experienced administrators and our Clinical Associate Lead to establish a way of working that works for you and meets the needs of our clients.

About You

As a Clinical Associate, you must be able to demonstrate:

• Full accreditation with the British Association for Behaviour and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP)
• An Enhanced DBS certificate or valid subscription to the DBS Update Service (including Adult and Children’s Barred List).
• Registration as self-employed with HMRC and operating under sole trader status.

If you operate under a limited company, please contact us separately.

• A valid Professional Indemnity Insurance policy set to a minimum of £1,000,000.
• A minimum of 2 references, covering the last 3 years.
• Access to your own IT equipment and any software required to conduct your clinical work.

These must meet our information security requirements.

• Access to a telephone system for conducting clinical work.
• Appropriate external Supervision arrangements.
• Evidence of suitable Information Governance and Safeguarding training. Where this cannot be evidenced, you will be required to undertake our service training in these areas.

You must also be able to maintain:

• A recovery rate above 55%
• A reliable improvement rate above 70%
• A drop-out rate below 15%
• A patient satisfaction rate above 90%
