Interpersonal Therapy
Interpersonal Therapy (IPT) focuses on reducing the symptoms of depression, by exploring current relationships and any difficulties you may be experiencing within them. These could be disagreements or arguments with others, significant life changes such as having a baby, grief/loss or difficulties starting or keeping relationships.
This aims to improve your social functioning and help you to deal with relationship problems more effectively by making small changes. This has a positive impact on the symptoms of depression and can help you to feel better.
